Psychological Health & Safety (PHS) for Leaders

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The Wellness and Psychological Health & Safety team have updated the Psychological Health & Safety (PHS) for Leaders Workshop, as PHC gets ready for new WorkSafe BC Regulations relating to PHS coming later in 2026 (date TBC). This training also helps us to continually align to the CSA National Standard of Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

Furthermore, leaders play a key role to create and foster a work environment that is psychologically safe. Just as physical safety is everyone’s responsibility, psychological safety belongs to us all and it starts with leaders.

Key topics covered:

· Deep dive into 3 of the psychosocial factors according to the National Standard

· Identify potential hazards and potential controls to mitigate in a few key areas of Psychological Health & Safety

· Commitment to Action: confirm next steps within your team and department
