- This event has passed.
A comprehensive and important presentation about the COVID-19 vaccine: with Drs. Tracy Scott,Victor Leung, & Janet Kow, and special guest Dr.Danuta Skowronski, Epidemiology Lead, Influenza & Emerging Respiratory Pathogens from the BC Centre for Disease Control.
As vaccine supply will be limited through the beginning of 2021, it will require strategic management to address scarcity during a period of heightened need. To extend protective vaccine coverage, population risk assessment and response require consideration of second dose deferral. This talk will review the evidence and benefit-risk analysis underpinning decisions to defer the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Dr. Skowronski is much sought after for her expertise and her ability to get us the information we need as clinicians.
Dr. Skowronski will be available for questions after the presentation as will Drs. Janet Kow and Victor Leung. You can submit your questions before the presentation via Slido here> code: msa
