Have a QI project to improve patient care, quality, or safety?
Providence Health Care is pleased to announce that submissions are now open for this year’s Celebrating QI Event. Submissions will also be considered for The Best Quality and Safety Award, presented in honour of Lynette Best, former Chief of Professional Practice and Nursing at PHC, whose leadership helped establish PHC’s first centralized Patient Safety Office.
Who can apply?
All PHC staff and service providers are invited to submit QI projects—completed or currently in progress. All projects that advance safety, quality of care, or system improvement are welcome.

The Best Quality and Safety Award
A distinguished panel will select The Best Award recipient, recognizing individuals or teams who demonstrate exceptional dedication to improving care by redesigning systems and processes to better meet the needs of patients, clients, and residents. The award will be presented at the Mission Awards Ceremony on Friday, June 5.
